The cottage

This 2-person gîte (55m2), known in the village as the 'house of musicians', was completely renovated in 2024 and is equipped with modern conveniences including high-speed internet, dishwasher and washing machine. The decor is rural modern and all rooms are on the ground floor. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed (160x200) and the bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. The open-plan kitchen leads into the cosy living room with wood-burning stove and direct access to the terrace. From here you have a beautiful view over the spacious private garden and the immediately adjacent fields. At the back of the garden there are several old fruit trees which make this part of the garden a cosy and shady place. Again, with a beautiful view over the fields and the Morvan.

Surroundings

This gîte is located at a distance of 10 km from the village Corbigny where all necessary facilities are available. Directly from the cottage you can make various walks along the fields or through the woods. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you drive in 5 minutes to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne. Within 15 minutes you can reach the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and also the lakes and forests of Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan are close by. Besides all the beautiful nature, it is also worthwhile to visit the unique cities in the region like Vezelay and Auxerre.
