The cottage
This former 'ecurie', at the edge of the small village of Héry (58800), has been completely renovated in '21/'22. The beautiful detached cottage is a combination of authentic French and modern stylish, has a luxurious finish and is equipped with modern comforts (fibre-optic internet (WiFi), dishwasher, washing machine).
The spacious bedroom has a comfortable double bed (160x200), the kitchen has many authentic details and the cosy living room with wood stove gives direct access to the terrace. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and there is a separate toilet. All rooms are on the ground floor. In the living room, there is a comfortable sofa bed (140x200) so that this house is suitable for up to 4 people. This room can be closed off from the kitchen with blackout curtains to create a separate bedroom.
On the south-facing terrace you are right in the middle of nature with a spectacular view over your own private garden, the beautiful fields and of course the Morvan! In the evening you can enjoy an overwhelming starry sky!
Surroundings
This gîte is located at a distance of 10 km from the village Corbigny where all necessary facilities are available. Directly from the cottage you can make various walks along the fields or through the woods. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you drive in 5 minutes to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne. Within 15 minutes you can reach the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and also the lakes and forests of Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan are close by. Besides all the beautiful nature, it is also worthwhile to visit the unique cities in the region like Vezelay and Auxerre.

Standard rate: €595/week of €95/night (minimum 2 nights). Discount possible for longer stays.
Summer rate (July + Augustus): €695/week (only per week and arrival on Saturday)*

Dog (maximum 2) permitted after consultation (+€25). Garden is not fully fenced.
Tourist tax, final cleaning, bath, bed and kitchen linen included.
